Lazy Day

Yea I know I don't exactly work hard the best of times, but today I have done absolutely F' all! But I do feel like crap so please be nice :) I have a horrible sore throat and my head feels like it will explode at any minute!!! Unfortunately I do have to go to the store, food you know that stuff we need! :( and to pay in a check for actual real work, three days I did for a very nice lady in DC. who's theory is to let her just over a year old twins to have free range of the house and if she hears a crash she'll go and check it out!!! Hmmmmm great idea huh??

An hour later......
I have made some chili for dinner tonight (remembered I had meat in the fridge) so maybe a trip to the store isn't on the cards for today! I am going to hunker down on the sofa with a cuppa and watch a Paul Newman film!

Time Flies

Not only is it Thursday already, can you believe it's October! This week has zoomed by and I haven't really done that much, surprise surprise!
We just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary! YAY! Two whole years, amazing! We were going to go out and wander round Wheaton regional park (where we went on one of our very first dates!) but C was sneezy and snotty last weekend, so as long as it's not raining, we'll try again this weekend. It's pretty and the leaves are gorgeous right now. Bloody freezing though! the weather has turned, we broke down and turned the heating on a few nights ago!
Nothing much to report. We are looking forward to the UFC this weekend Silva v Cote. I would love to see Patrick Cote win, but Anderson Silva is SCARY! Last weeks Free Michael Bisping fight was a bit of a let down, he won, but it was boring! And the rest of the card was dead boring!
And what's with Spike saying it's live? It starts at 9pm our time but is in Birmingham in the UK! Live my arse!!!!!!

Hair, Blair Bunch

Okay please excuse the poor title, but I had lunch with the ever wonderful Blair today! It's always lovely to hang out with her. We went to Gordon Biersch in Rockville which is VERY yummy. We both had salads that did not resemble salads in the least, Blair had goats cheese and hummus YUM and I had seafood cobb! DELICIOUS!
Needless to say we sat and chatted for ages, time does not just fly with Blair it tends to .... well evaporate! After we sat in the restaurant we went across the street to good ole Starbucks and sat in there for another hour! 3 hours were gone!!! Sadly I don't get to hang out with Blair enough, we always find something to talk about! Next, decorating the basement!! Shabby chic darling!!!

Now to the hair part. I decided a while back that I was going to have my hair cut short again, reason being it drives me insane most days! I made the decision and was happy and dead set for it. Then I kinda changed my mind! (Like I do!!!) I think it's more sensible to have it cut, but it seems like such a waste to grow it for 2 years and then just chop it off!!!! Today I quite liked it, I had it loose and it had waves at the front almost finger like waves. And if I squinted into the mirror I almost looked all 1930's glam! But then as soon as I got outside that was ruined as it was windy and then I had to tie it back in the restaurant cos I can't stand it being near my face! See how it is! I kinda wish I'd never grown it in the first place!!!! I hate decisions of any kind!!! Sad cow that I am. So do I get it cut off before Florida, or just have it styled? SIGH

The bunch.... well just 2 today, Josh and Zach! I went over to say hello and drop off some Halloween stuff. We made pumpkin bats! I am going over for Halloween next week (I think!) and I will take some pictures of the decorations and the kids costumes to post here! :)

Oh Yea

I forgot about Kerry and Geoff's wedding,there are photos at the bottom of the page, no there aren't any of me! It was a lovely trip. I managed to get sunburnt (to a crisp) and survive a tropical storm all in the space of 4 days!!!! I forgot how hot Florida can be in the summer!!! But it was great Kerry and Geoff's family are such nice people and even though I only knew about 3 people there I had a blast!
Okay dinner time!!!!!
