STRESS!

I am in that "I should be doing something" phase right before I go away! Getting all stressed and worried! I blame my Mum cos I inherited it from her :)
It doesn't help that I had my hair cut Saturday and I don't like it at all! Not Juliana's fault she is a genius, but I asked her to cut in a fringe (thats bangs to you Americans! :) ) and I now look like a soccer mom! You know the type she wears polo necks under jumpers and has Tupperware parties! Thats how I feel when I look in the mirror! Not a great feeling I can tell you. I feel like I should grab the keys to the mini van and go and do something charitable! Also it's very white!!!!
So expect the next pic you see to be me with really short hair again!

To add to said stress, I received a letter from INS stating that my fingerprints have expired. Oh I'm sorry the validity of my fingerprints. Cos everyone knows you must have your fingerprints taken every year! That's 3 times I'll have had them taken, THREE. Cos they have changed so much in the ELEVEN years it has taken them to get thru my case! I wouldn't mind but this last letter is from when I filed in February, because it has taken them until now to start looking at my case, fingerprints has expired! Not my fault, I have already had a letter saying my case is Outside Normal Processing Times and now this. Little annoyed to say the least. I have to go tomorrow before I go to the airport, because they are not open today! (helpful) and because it took so long for the letter to come thru the post by the time the 30 days is up it's New years Day! JOY so I will be there at 8am tomorrow hoping theres not a line! Such fun!

But, I end on a gloriously happy note! My Good Friends Ethan and Vicki have added to their family (not dogs or cats this time!) Baby Tobin was born on the 4th weighing in a cute little 6lb 5oz! He looks absolutely adorable and I cannot wait to meet him!

This Christmas

WOW this will be a thriller!
I have been listening to the Christmas all the time station since before Thanksgiving and today was the first time I head Last Christmas by the ever fab Wham!!! Can you believe that? I mean I am only listening in the car whilst on the way to somewhere, because too much Christmas music could make any sane person commit murder. But I am surprised, it's usually played to death.
Which make me reminisce , as I tend to do, I miss Jona Lewie "Stop The Cavalry" and The Pogues "Fairy Tale of New York" and the Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping"!

Wish I had something to tell you, not that anyone reads this anyway LOL
I felt bad that I have not written anything for ages and Vicki, who is about to give birth any minute, has posted numerous times!
But I suppose she does have stuff to tell and super cute pictures to post! Ultra sound pics have come along way since those black and white blobby things where you couldn't tell whether it was a baby let alone anything else. I have had people say look how cute and I'm thinking I see a bat!
But anyway Mr.T is sooo cute!

so after being seriously humbled by Vicki's blogging prowess, I really wish I had something to tell you! I am going to see Josh and Zach this afternoon, well more importantly their Mom with her broken neck! She needs company! then i am going to pick up HER Mom from the airport Thursday nite, in return for Sam taking me to BWI next Tuesday! Lucked out with that one!
need to get everything together for Florida, only 6 days to go! YAY!!! my Christmas cards are made, and I think I have enough. all set, I think!

So I am just waiting to hear from Ethan and Vicki about Mr. T arriving tomorrow and I'll have soemthign to post again! until then.... stay tuned :)
